Welcome to the Websites of BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group (CRRC New Material Technologies GmbH – hereinafter referred to as “CRRC”, “we”, or “us” - is the holding company for all subsidiaries worldwide). We take our responsibility to protect your personal data seriously and respect your privacy – a concern to which we pay special attention in our business processes. Below you will find some important information about collection, processing and use of your personal data when you visit our website and your rights with regard to the protection of your personal data.

3. For what purposes and on what legal basis personal data are processed.

We collect certain information every time you visit our Websites or when you contact us in other ways.
We respect your right to privacy and will only process your personal data in accordance with the following statutory provisions:
  • If you give us your explicit consent (Section 6, Paragraph 1a of the GDPR), e.g. if you want us to contact you directly.
  • For the fulfillment of our contractual obligations (Section 6, Paragraph 1b of the GDPR), e.g. when you purchase products from us.
  • We, as a company, are subject to various legal obligations (Section 6, Paragraph 1c of the GDPR). We are obliged for example under tax and commercial law to retain certain documents. 
  • In addition, we process data on the grounds that third parties or we have a legitimate interest in processing such data (Section 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR). These include inter alia data processing for the purpose of direct marketing, sales promotion, IT security and fraud prevention, and the creation of pseudonymous user profiles for the analysis and tailor-made design of the website (tracking). You shall have the right to raise objections to the processing of your data for the purpose of a legitimate interest in compliance with Section 21, Paragraph 1 of the GDPR).

3.1 Data processing on our website

3.1.1 Collection of personal data when you visit our website

If you visit our website passively – i.e. if you do not register or otherwise share information with us – the only personal data we will collect is that which your browser shares with our server. When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is required for technical purposes in order to display our website and ensure stability and security. The legal basis for this is Section 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR. The following data will be collected when your visit our website: 

IP address, data and time of visit, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of request (specific page), access status / HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, website which sent the request, browser, operating system and desktop, language and version of your browser software.

3.1.2 Contacting CRRC via email or contact form

If you contact us via our contact form, via email or by phone, we will store the personal data you share. We only store and use your data to the extent necessary to get in contact with you in the desired manner and respond to your enquiry (in accordance with Section 6, Paragraph 1 lit a or b of the GDPR).

3.1.3 Advertising by CRRC

If we receive your e-mail address and postal address in the context of an order, we can use this data to inform you via e-mail and postal service about similar product and service offers. If you do not wish to receive any further promotional and advertising material via e-mail or postal service, you may object to the use of your contact data at any time with effect for the future without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. 3.1.4 Applications

You can apply for a position at one of our companies online via our application portal by Email. Your data will only be used to process your application.

Please note that unencrypted Emails are normally not transmitted with access protection. 

If you have applied for a certain position and it has already been filled or we consider you more suitable for a different position, we would like to pass on your application within our company. Please let us know if you do not agree to a transfer of your data. Your personal data will be deleted immediately after completing the application procedure, or after a maximum of six months, unless you have expressly given us your consent for a longer storage of your data or a contract has been concluded. The legal basis is provided in Section 6, Paragraph 1a, b and f of the GDPR as well as in accordance with Section 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act).

3.1.5 Cookies 

Our Internet pages use “cookies” in several places. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser you are using, and that provide certain information to the location that sets the cookie. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain any viruses. They serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. We also use cookies to recognize you each time you visit our website if you have an account with us.  Otherwise, you would have to log in again when you visit our website.

Transient Cookies 
Transient cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”. They store a so-called session ID by which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This will allow your device to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

Persistent Cookies These cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time.

3.1.6 Website analysis with Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Use includes the Universal Analytics operating mode. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID, thus analyzing the activities of a user across devices.

Google Analytics uses cookies that enable us to analyze how visitors use our website. The information generated by the cookie concerning the use of this website is transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will only transmit your IP address in shortened form within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address provided by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. On behalf of the owner of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the web activities on these websites and to provide other website and internet related services to the website owner. We have a legitimate interest in processing this data in compliance with these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is provided in Section 15 of Paragraph 3 of the German Telemedia Act or Section 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR. This information is collected by Google and transmitted to us in compliance with the terms of the Google Privacy Policy.

3.1.7 Cookies for marketing purposes

We use cookies for marketing purposes to address users with advertising tailored to their interests. In addition, we use cookies to limit the probability of displaying of advertising and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising measures. This information may also be shared with third parties such as Ad networks. The legal basis is provided in Section 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in direct marketing concerning the purposes pursued with data processing. You may object at any time to the processing of your data for the purpose of such advertising. In the following, we will provide opt-out options for the respective services. Alternatively, you can disable cookies in your browser settings.

3.1.8 Double Click

In addition, we use DoubleClick, a service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, "Google"). DoubleClick uses cookies to serve user-based ads. The cookies recognize which ad has already been displayed in your browser and whether you have visited a website via an ad served through this site. The cookies do not collect any personal information and cannot be associated with such information. 

If you do not wish to use such service, you can disable cookies required for these technologies at any time for example by changing the configuration of your browser. In this case, your visit will not be stored in the user statistics. You also have the option to select the types of Google ads and disable interest-based ads on Google via the settings for these aps. Alternatively, you can disable the use of third-party cookies by visiting the Netzwork Advertising Initiative's opt-out help. However, Google and we continue to receive statistical information on how many users visited this page. If you also do not want to be included in these statistics, you can use additional programs for your browser (for example with the Add-on Ghostery) to prevent that your personal data will be included in statistical information.

3.1.9 YouTube

Videos from YouTube are embedded in the website in enhanced privacy mode. When you view online a video on YouTube, the following data will be transmitted to Google as a YouTube provider:
  • the IP address,
  • the specific address of the page visited on our website,
  • the transmitted identification of the browser, and
  • system date and time of the visit, and
  • already existing cookies, through which your browser can be uniquely identified
Only when the video is played, cookies and pixel tags are used by YouTube to personalize advertising and search results. YouTube does not store information about website visitors unless they watch the video.
Please note that Google may receive additional information about cookies already stored. The extent, to which these are used by Google, is beyond our control. Google Inc. will be responsible for the collection and processing.

3.2 Data processing at trade fairs

If you provide to us your contact details at trade fairs, for example by presenting your business card, we collect that information in our system. We use your data to contact you as desired, to establish a business relationship or to send you promotional and advertising materials (Section 6, Paragraph 1 lit. a, b and f of the GDPR.)

3.3 Data processing when requesting support by phone

If you contact us by phone for support requests, we will collect your name, company, concerns, and contact details for processing, if necessary. Your data will be used to process your request. The legal basis is provided in Section 6, Paragraph 1b and f of the GDPR.


4. Will my data be transmitted to third parties?

In order to enable us to process your data for the purposes described above, it may be necessary that third parties will be able to view and process your data.

4.1 Sharing data within the BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group

In special cases, it may be necessary for us to share your data across the group. However, sharing your data within the BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group will only take place if it is based on statutory provisions which justify such operations, e.g. when other companies of the BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group provide services for us within the framework of order processing or we have a legitimate interest in sharing this data within the group in accordance with Section 6, Paragraph 1f of the GDPR.

4.2 External service providers (commissioned data processing)

We share your data with particular external service providers, which perform services on our behalf and support us in the provision of our services. If you subscribe to our newsletter, for example, we have commissioned a service provider to send the mailing.
As far as our service providers come into contact with your personal data, we ensure within the scope of order processing according to Section 28 DSGVO that they comply with the provisions of the data protection laws in the same way.

4.3 Other service providers, partners and third parties

The BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group may use other service providers, partners and third parties to offer or facilitate services on our behalf or if we are obliged to disclose personal information when required by law. Service providers, partners and third parties may include: 

  • Credit institutions and payment service providers
  • Credit assessments
  • Call-center services and support
  • Transmission to public authorities or by court order
  • Agencies
  • Service providers for surveys


5. Will my data be processed outside the EU and how will data protection be ensured?

We attach great importance to processing your data within the EU. However, it may happen that we use service providers operating outside the EU. In these cases, we request from our service providers that they have to follow our express instructions and comply with appropriate security measures to ensure an adequate level of data protection prior to the transmission of your personal data. This means that through EU standard contracts or an adequacy decision, such as the EU Privacy Shield, a level of data protection is achieved that is comparable to the standards within the EU.


6. How long will my data be stored? 

Generally, we delete personal data as soon as it is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data was initially collected or processed and a deletion is not permitted by legal retention obligations.


7. What rights do I have and how can I assert these rights?

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

7.1 General rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, prohibit processing and prohibit the transfer of your own personal data. If we are processing your personal data on the basis of consent, which you have provided, you retain the right to withdraw your consent for future processing.

7.2 Rights for data processing with a legitimate interest

In accordance with Section 21, Paragraph 1 of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge an objection on the grounds of your own particular situation at any time to the processing of your own personal data for purposes in accordance with Section 6, Paragraph 1e of the GDPR (Data Processing in the Public Interest) or Section 6, Paragraph 1f GDPR (Data Processing to Protect a Legitimate Interest). This also applies to profiling based on this regulation. If you lodge an objection, we will cease to process your personal data unless we can furnish evidence of having compelling legitimate grounds for doing so which override your interests, rights and freedom, or unless such processing is necessary in order to assert, exercise or defend a legal claim.

7.3 Rights concerning direct advertising

In cases where we process your personal data for the purpose of direct advertising, you retain the right in accordance with Section 21, Paragraph 2 of the GDPR to object at any time to the processing of your own personal data for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling where such is connected to such direct advertising.

If you lodge an objection to the processing of your personal data for direct advertising, we will no longer use your personal data for such purposes.

7.4 The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory body

Further, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the responsible Data Protection Authorities regarding the processing of your personal data by us.

8.1 Changes to this data protection information

As our collection and processing of your data may change over time, we might also modify this Data Protection Information in order to always correctly reflect our data processing status and practices. Changes will be announced in time on this site. To be informed about the current state of our usage agreement, we encourage you to visit our website from time to time.
