As a tool mechanic (m/f/d), you will manufacture stamping tools, casting molds and injection molds for our production facilities. Your tasks include the manufacture of individual parts, the assembly of the parts into complete tools and the final functional testing. In addition, the maintenance and repair of defective tools and the instruction in the handling of the equipment are part of your responsibilities. For the production of parts, you will mostly use CNC-controlled machine tools, which you will program on your own.
During your training, you will learn to read technical drawings and to process different metals, for example, by drilling, milling and turning. You will learn how to use special gauges and testing equipment so that you can measure the workpieces down to a few thousandths of a millimeter to ensure that they comply with the specifications. After completing your training, your broad knowledge will lay the foundation for a successful career in prototype production, in testing workshops or in many other areas.
